Asset Management Portal 

Historically, public sector asset owners in Scotland have faced challenges due to incomplete or inaccurate operation and maintenance (O&M) information, resulting in inefficiencies and difficulties in reporting statutory compliance. This data gap has hindered effective building management and driven up operational costs. To address these issues, the Scottish Futures Trust has developed a digital solution that standardises the management of asset information across new and existing buildings. The solution integrates Microsoft 365 tools, such as SharePoint and PowerBI, into a comprehensive asset management portal.

This platform allows property data to be linked with O&M, health and safety (H&S) documentation, and task lists for managing and tracking maintenance schedules and statutory compliance. By streamlining processes, the solution not only helps to boosts operational efficiency but also enhances the safe and effective delivery of services critical to the public sector.
