The implementation of BIM (building information modelling) and digital information management has continued to grow within the Scottish public sector and now commonplace within most large-scale infrastructure programmes and projects.

Clients, designers and construction delivery teams continue to upskill and mature in digital ways of working, resulting in improved collaboration and the efficient delivery of quality projects. Consistent digital information management is also starting to unlock new shared benefits and performance related outcomes across the whole asset lifecycle.
